MaryLee won $4.00 for the 50/50 drawing.  John drew the Queen of Clubs from the card deck. There is $106 in the pot.

Fines & Happy Dollars

Jean was Sergeant of Arms and the questions were: During a severe rain storm how far does the Empire State Building sway-several feet to either side, How fast does a normal rain drop fall-7 miles per hour, One inch of rain is equal to haw many inches of snow-10", What color is on the outside of the arc of a rainbow-red, What causes acid rain-sulfur and nitrogen from factories and vehicles, How much rain does an average rain gauge measure-5".

Tammy had a happy dollar because her classes are over, Sharon had a happy dollar because she will not chair the membership committee next year, and MaryLee had a happy dollar because they had a new baby horse.

District Conference

Cara Hunsinger was a guest, and showed the club pictures of the recent Conference. There were 5 foreign exchange students present. Norway, Thailand, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and of course our own Nikki from Italy. The pictures were great. It looks like there was lots of fun. Marilee and LaMar won a prize.

Student Loan

The committee to review loan applicants are Mihas, Pam, Howard, and Virginia.

Golf Tournament

The price for the golf tournament will be $30.00 to sponsor a hole. John asked for members to get hole sponsors.
