50/50

Sharon won $5.00 for the 50/50 drawing and Tammy drew the Queen of Clubs from the card deck. There is $54 in the pot.  We are looking for the queen of hearts. 

Exchange Student

Our club still needs host families for our foreign exchange student, who will be here on August 14th.

Rotary Leadership Institute

Rotary Leadership Institutes #1, 2, and 3 will be at the Berwick Middle School on Oct. 11th. More information will follow.

Membership

Sharon talked to the club about membership. 7370 needs to have 1,000 members by the end on 2008. This is important, without these members clubs would be split into different districts, and this could mean higher dues. August is membership month. There will be prizes for members who can get the most people to join Rotary. The winner will get a free trip to the conference. Sharon has a 4 week plan to try to get new members. Next week we will talk more about memberships.
