Fines & Happy Dollars
Sue had to leave early, so Sharon served as Sergeant
of Arms, and questions were: What was the original color of Coke-green,
what do half of Americans have in common-the live within 50 miles of
their birth place, what day are most collect calls made-Father's Day,
what is the only food that does not spoil-honey, tomorrow is 4/15 (tax
day) if you filed early you paid a fine, and if you got a refund you
paid fine. MaryLee had a Happy Dollar because there were 4 generations
of family at her house for Easter.
Tastefully Simple
The club sold $1744.00 of Tastefully Simple, and received a
profit of $436.00
District Nominating Committee
DG Jim asked Howard to serve as a candidate for the nominating
committee, John made a motion and MaryLee seconded this motion, motion
carried.

Italy
Nicki showed the club slides from her country. Italy is made
up of 20 parts-regions. Italy is a Republic governed by a President and
Prim Minister. The Prime Minister chooses the members of Parliament.
Italy's flag is green, red and white. Italy's national religion is
Catholic, and about 88% of the people are Catholic. The National Anthem
of Italy is Brothers of Italy. Italian meals are made up of 4
courses-bread and pasta, salad, wine and cheese, and fruit and dessert.
Easter Egg Hunt
The kids
that won the Easter Poster Contest were guests of the club. The kids
also had some family members attend. 3rd place winner was Alyssa Shambach, 2nd place winner was Gaby Edmiston, and 1st place winner was
Dillon Erb.
