50/50

Tammy won $6.00 for the 50/50 drawing, and Howard drew the Ace of Clubs from the card deck. There is $102 in the pot and 37 cards in the deck.

Happy Dollars

Sue Nerhood had a happy dollar because the Chinese Auction is over.

Perfect Attendance

Howard reported we had 100% attendance, because anyone not at the meeting had helped at the Chinese Auction.

Beaver Fair

The schedule to work at the Beaver Fair was passed around, more people are needed for Saturday. Members went to the fair grounds after the meeting to help clean the stand.

October Committees

MaryLee and Becky have programs for October. Virginia and Jean are in charge of the Care and Share program this year. Carolyn, John and Eric are in charge of the fall spouse’s meal.

Chinese Auction

The proceeds from the auction were $64.00 for the 50/50 drawing, $352.00 for the Red Table, $200.75 for the food stand, expenses were $50.00 for tables, $6.50 for red tickets, and $4.10 for stamps for thank you cards, with a total profit of $2,563.15. The profit last year was $2,585.00. There were 36 less people attending this year, but there were several other Chinese Auctions in the area.
