50/50

Jean won $5.00 for the 50/50 drawing.  Virginia drew the 10 of Diamonds from the card deck. There is $37 in the pot and 43 cards in the deck.  We are now looking for the Queen of Hearts.

Golf Tournament

June 14th is the golf tournament, and John needs members to talk to sponsors.

Gates Foundation

Tammy received a letter from Rotary International promoting the $100,000,000.00 Gates matching promotion. Each club in our district is asked to donate for this project. Each member is to pledge $25.00 a year for 3 years, and the club is to match these donations.

Exchange Student

Howard talked about a foreign exchange student from Italy. We will talk about this at the next meeting.

Auction

Club members brought lots of nice items for the auction, some good baked goods, nice decorations, and some dishes. The profit from the auction was $129.00.

Student Loan

Monday evening May 12th, club members will be interviewing students for loans at Becky's office at 5:30.
