50/50

Becky  won $6.00 for the 50/50 drawing and also drew the 7 of clubs from the card deck. There is $44 in the pot and 42 cards in the deck.  We are now looking for the Queen of Hearts.

Fines & Happy Dollars

Tim was Sergeant of Arms and the questions were: What county has suffered a disastrous cyclone-Malmaur, which state has bad wild fires-Florida, members who mowed grass today had to pay a fine, when did the Beaver Springs Best Way open-December 1999, and how do you pronounce Vinnie's last name-Inzerello .

Carolyn and Howard paid fines because they left early. MaryLee had a happy dollar because her daughter Marla's back operation went well, and Sharon had a happy dollar because Ray is back safe.

Golf Tournament

John asked for volunteers to get hole sponsors for the golf tournament on June 14th. The cost to sponsor a hole is $30.00.

Entrance fee for the tournament is $60.00, and this includes green fees, cart, 2 mulligans, a meal, and 50/50 drawing. Anyone with questions can e-mail John at jacuker@westmiltonstatebank.com.

Best Way

Jane introduced Vinnie Inzerello who is the manager of the Beaver Springs Best Way. Vinnie told the club his family moved to the Beaver Springs area from Philadelphia. His father was a plumber by trade, and enjoyed travelling to this area to hunt, and eventually decided this would be a good place to raise his family. Best Way is actually a small franchise. Vinnie's father purchased property in Lewistown and built a new building and opened the first Best Way in this area. In December of 1999 he opened the Beaver Springs Best Way, and Vinnie has been managing it since then. Vinnie enjoys this area, and hopes to see growth for his business. Most of the Best Way's do not serve breakfast, but Vinnie and his dad decided to try it, and so far it has been very successful, and has helped the business.
