50/50

Gary won $6.00 for the 50/50 drawing and Mihai drew the 4 of hearts from the card deck. There is $24 in the pot.  We are looking for the queen of hearts.

Fines & Happy Dollars

Ray was Sergeant of Arms, and anyone who was late paid a fine, if members did not have a Rotary pin on they paid fines, members also paid a fine if they did not know that the Rotary International president and his wife on the cover of the latest Rotary magazine were from Korea. Members also had to pay a fine if they did not help at either the Relay for Life weekend, or at the golf tournament.

Howard had a happy dollar because tomorrow June 25th will be his and Sharon's 42nd wedding anniversary. MaryLee had a happy dollar because DeDe was her guest, and because LaMar made it to the meeting before it was over. Tim had a happy dollar because he and his wife Sue will be moving to Colorado to manage a ranch where guests can vacation in the Summer, and hunt, snowmobile and cross county ski in the Winter.

Memorial

The club had a moment of silence to remember Carolyn Fischer. Her positive attitude and gift of entertaining will be missed.

Installation

Carl Askew was a guest, and also was present to install the officers for the new year. LaMar will be president, Howard will be vice president, Jean will be secretary, Becky will be treasurer, and John will be a director.

Stuff

MaryLee introduced her daughter DeeDee who talked about STUFF. Everyone has stuff : good stuff, bad stuff, little stuff, big stuff, useful stuff, and some stuff that is not so useful. Most Americans have the enough-is-never-enough standards. As a club Rotarians pass on a lot of good stuff to a lot of people who need it. Water projects in poor countries, dictionaries to 3rd grade students, meals for students of the month, and a lot of other good stuff. Most of us have more stuff that we really need.

Rotary Year Wrap-up

This is Tammy's last meeting as president. Thanks for a good year Tammy.

Tammy thanked the club, the directors and the officers for all their help during the past year. Tammy recapped the past year, and mentioned the things the club did for fun, the projects that were for profit, all the community projects the club participated in, the giving to Rotary International, and the happy times club members shared over the past year.

Tim's New Adventure

Good luck with your new adventure Tim. Anyone who wants to know more about Tim's new adventure can visit the ranch's web site at www.coulterlake.com.
