50/50

Gary won $6.00 for the 50/50 drawing and Mihai drew the 4 of hearts from the card deck. There is $18 in the pot.  We are looking for the queen of hearts. 

Fines & Happy Dollars

Ray was Sergeant of Arms, and Tammy paid a fine for forgetting her name tag, and starting late, Tim had to pay a fine because Ray saw his 4 horses when he was driving by Tim's farm, anyone who did not have a Rotary pin on had to pay a fine, also members who did not help at either the golf tournament or at Relay for Life had to pay a fine.

Ray had a Happy Dollar because the Phillies beat the Boston Red Sox 8-2 and Howard had 2 home runs.

Golf Tournament

John reported that 13 teams participated in the golf tournament of Saturday. The club should have about $1200.00 profit after expenses.

Guest

Tim introduced his guest Aaron Wolf who is one of Tim's students at his guide camp.

Rotary Foundation

Howard talked about Rotary Foundation. The humanitarian programs, hunger, assistance and grants, The Polio Plus programs to try to eliminate polio throughout the world, and education, which supports scholarship programs which allows students to study abroad for one year.

Thank You

Tammy read a thank-you letter from the Midd-West School District. Rotary sponsored Community Service Awards for 2 graduating seniors. Michael Stettler and Kierston Bowen won these awards.

Exchange Student

Sharon told the club we will be getting an exchange student from Italy.

Schedule & Committees

LaMar passed a schedule around for members to sign up for committees and projects they would like to participate in during the next year.
