Sharon won $5.00 for the 50/50 drawing.
Sue drew the Ace of Clubs from the card deck. There is $17 in the pot and
47 cards in the deck. We are now looking for the Queen of Hearts.
Fines and Happy Dollars
Sharon was Sergeant of Arms and her questions
were: What is the Rotary motto-Service above self, what was the first
Rotary motto-they profit most who serve the best, where and when was the
1st Rotary meeting held-Chicago on Feb. 23rd 1905, where was the first
non-English speaking club-Havana Cuba in 1916, what are the 4 avenues of
Rotary service-international, community, vocational, and club.
Carolyn had a happy dollar because her husband
John filled in the program for her, and Tim was just happy.
50th Anniversary
Next Tuesday will be the 50th Anniversary meal
at the Beavertown Fire hall. Social hour at 6:00, and the meal will be
served at 6:30.
Tastefully Simple
May 4th Carolyn will be having a Tastefully
Simple show at her house at 2:00. Members and friends are welcome to
attend.
Scholarship
Becky has 2 scholarship applications, and will
be reviewing them soon.
