Becky won $5.00 for the 50/50 drawing.  Sue drew the 4 of diamonds from the card deck. There is $27 in the pot and 45 cards in the deck.  We are now looking for the Queen of Hearts.

Fines and Happy Dollars

Sharon was Sergeant of Arms and questions were: What is the exact date when our club was organized-April 14th, 1958. What does 7-11 mean. That was the room number where the first Rotary meeting was held. What are the 4 avenues of Rotary-Club, vocation, community, and international.

Becky had a happy dollar because Brian's daughter had a baby girl, Tammy had a happy dollar because they adopted another golden retriever puppy, his name is Jack, MaryLee had a happy dollar because Flavia will be staying with them now, and Howard had a happy dollar because Saturday is his son Howard's 40th birthday.

District Assembly

District Assembly will be this Saturday from 8:00 am till 12:00 noon at Muncy. The cost is $10.00 and that includes lunch.

Tastefully Simple

Our club received $240.00 profit for the Tastefully Simple party, and we will also receive profit from a party Carolyn is having on May 4th.

Relay for Life

Tammy handed out forms for the Relay. Our club will have our stand open for the Relay.

GSE Team

LaMar talked about the Group Study Exchange team that visited last week from Brazil. To be in this group you must have a college degree, and be in business for 2 years. The leader of the group is a Rotarian.

Humanitarian Award

Harvey Edwards was honored with a humanitarian award by the Selinsgrove club. Mr. Edwards has a program which involves students working with different races, and occupations.

50th Anniversary

Sharon read a thank you note from Kathryn Narehood, she enjoyed the evening at the 50th Anniversary celebration. Alice Kissinger congratulated the club on their 50th Anniversary. 58 people attended the celebration.

District Conference

Sharon had a call from the District Governor telling her he enjoyed her presentation at District Conference. West Snyder Rotary Club received an award for having the highest number of youth exchange students hosted.
