50/50

Virginia won the first drawing of $4.  Sharon drew the 9 of clubs from the deck of cards.  There is $254 in the pot with 13 cards remaining.

 Fines and Happy Dollars

Club members had to have a Rotary pin on when they walked through the front door or they had to pay a fine. Ray had three questions: For what is Adam Rager famous? (He founded Beaver Springs) What is the president of Rotary International’s wife’s first name? (Monica) Who was leader and director of the Beavertown Town Band? (Charles Coleman)

Ray had a happy dollar because it was his last week to be Sergeant of Arms. Sue Nerhood had a happy dollar for her informative trip to Chicago. Howard had a happy dollar because he wasn't on the train from Pottstown. Sharon had a happy dollar because she liked the train better than she thought she would, and there were 34 Rotarians on the train.

 Exchange Student

Howard received a call from Ted Yerger who needs an answer on the exchange student. The club decided to host the student from Romania as long as the school is in acceptance.

 Barnyard Fest

John Aucker reported that the Barn Yard Fest went well.  Business was slow but there was a gross profit of $475.50. Extra rolls and hot dogs were sold. Bills for all three events were $360.00.

 McClure Park

Karl John reported the picnic tables and benches are in place in the McClure Park.  Howard will get the Rotary wheels to place on them

 Annual Fund

Howard reported that our goal for the annual fund was $1,650.00 and there was a total of $2,588.50 given. West Snyder Rotary Club was 4th in the district in per capita giving.

  Exchange Student

Next month Cindy is on the program committee and Sue Kodlick will be Sergeant of Arms.
